Description

The Aperta EZT3KXTB is a complete single-door access control system supplied as a kit-in-a-box, comprising an IP65-rated proximity keypad, a 300kg holding force magnetic lock, a mushroom-style exit button, an IP67 green emergency call point, a boxed power supply and ten proximity tags. The system is designed for outdoor installation on single-entry points where PIN-code and proximity-tag access control is required.

The kit suits commercial premises, residential buildings with controlled entry, industrial gates, storage facility access points and multi-occupancy buildings where keyless entry reduces key management overhead. The EZTAG3B keypad handles both four-to-eight digit PIN codes and proximity tag authentication, with LED feedback and an audible sounder confirming successful entry. The 300kg magnetic lock provides holding force equivalent to a deadbolt without requiring mechanical lock replacement, and the mushroom exit button allows free egress from the secure side without PIN or tag.

The IP65 rating on the keypad protects against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets, making the unit suitable for external mounting in UK weather conditions. The magnetic lock includes Z and L brackets to accommodate different door frame orientations, and the green emergency call point meets fire-exit signalling requirements where the door forms part of an emergency route.
