Description
The Aperta APKITKPG is a wired video door entry system pairing a surface-mount keypad panel with a 7" colour monitor and built-in recording capability. The outdoor panel carries a wide-angle camera with infrared LEDs for night vision, a numeric keypad for access control, and a microphone/speaker arrangement for two-way audio. The indoor monitor displays live video from the panel, stores snapshots of visitors, and allows the user to release a connected electric lock or gate mechanism.
Designed for residential properties, small apartment blocks and commercial premises requiring visitor verification before access, the system operates on 24V DC and connects via a multi-core cable between the outdoor panel and indoor monitor. The outdoor panel is IP55-rated for protection against rain and dust when surface-mounted on an external wall. The monitor includes navigation controls for reviewing stored images and adjusting system settings, including chime volume (adjustable between 92dB and 100dB) and one of 32 selectable chime tones.
The outdoor panel measures 420mm tall by 100mm wide, designed for mounting at eye level beside a front door or gate entrance. The white finish on both panel and monitor suits neutral-toned exteriors and modern residential interiors. The keypad allows up to 500 unique access codes to be programmed, with each code triggering the electric lock release without needing the indoor monitor to answer. The monitor is supplied with a desk stand and can alternatively be wall-mounted using the included bracket.

Frequently Asked
What's included in the kit?
The kit includes the outdoor keypad panel with camera and infrared LEDs, a 7" colour monitor with recording function, desk stand, wall-mount bracket, and connecting cables. An electric lock or gate release mechanism is not included and must be purchased separately if required.
How many access codes can be programmed?
The keypad panel supports up to 500 unique access codes. Each code can be assigned to release the connected lock without requiring the indoor monitor to answer the call, making it suitable for multi-occupancy buildings or properties with multiple authorised users.
Is the outdoor panel weatherproof?
Yes. The outdoor panel is IP55-rated, providing protection against rain, dust and low-pressure water jets when correctly surface-mounted on an external wall. It is not designed for full immersion or prolonged exposure to direct water jets.
What wiring is required between the panel and monitor?
The system requires a multi-core cable run between the outdoor panel and indoor monitor. The exact cable specification and maximum run length are detailed in the product manual. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician or security systems installer.
