What LED panels are for

LED panel lights give flat, even light across a ceiling, which makes them a common choice for offices, retail spaces and other rooms with suspended grid ceilings. The range covers backlit and recessed panels that sit flush in the ceiling, spreading light widely rather than from a single point. Surface-mount frames and suspension kits let the same panels be used where there is no grid to recess into.

Sizes and formats

The standard 600x600 size is stocked alongside 300x300 and 600x1200 formats, so a panel can be matched to the ceiling grid or the area being lit. Larger formats cover more floor from one fitting, while the smaller square suits compact rooms and tighter layouts.

Colour temperature and control

CCT adjustable panels switch between warm white, cool white and daylight, and fixed colour temperatures are also available. Dimmable options let the level be set to suit the task, which is useful across desks and display areas. Emergency kits can add back-up light to compatible panels.

Where they are used

The range is set up for commercial settings and studies, lighting offices, meeting rooms, retail floors and reception areas. The flat, broad output suits spaces where people work at desks or screens for long stretches and an even light across the room is wanted. Most are rated IP20, for dry indoor ceilings. White is the standard finish, so fittings sit quietly within the ceiling.

Fitting and placement

Recessed panels drop into a standard suspended ceiling grid, so confirm the grid size matches the panel before ordering. Use a surface frame on a solid ceiling and a suspension kit to hang a panel below the structure. Space panels evenly for consistent light across the floor, and leave the wiring to a qualified electrician. Free delivery worldwide on all orders over £99.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will a 600x600 panel fit my ceiling grid?
The 600x600 size drops straight into a standard suspended ceiling grid. For solid ceilings, surface-mount frames and suspension kits are available, and the range also includes 300x300 and 600x1200 formats for other layouts.

What does CCT adjustable mean on these panels?
CCT adjustable lets you set the colour temperature on the panel itself, switching between warm white, cool white and daylight without changing the fitting. Fixed-temperature panels are also stocked in options such as 4000K and 6500K if you prefer one set tone.

Are the LED panels dimmable?
Some are. Several backlit and recessed panels are marked dimmable, while others are non-dimmable, so check the listing for the model you want. One panel in the range also offers Wi-Fi control for adjustable wattage and colour.

Can I add emergency backup to a panel?
Yes. The range includes emergency kits and self-test troffer panels that keep a panel lit during a power cut, which is useful in offices and commercial spaces where backup lighting is expected.

Who should install LED panel lights?
Panels connect to the mains and often sit in a ceiling void, so the fixed wiring should be carried out by a qualified electrician. They can also confirm the right driver and any emergency kit are set up correctly.
