Description

The Kanlux Blingo UAIO is a 120x30cm surface-mounted LED panel rated at 40W maximum, with integrated LED modules delivering between 3990 lm and 4370 lm depending on the selected power and colour temperature setting. Both the colour temperature (3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white, or 6500K cool white) and the output wattage can be adjusted using built-in switches inside the panel housing, allowing a single SKU to serve multiple lighting requirements without stocking separate variants.

Designed for commercial offices, retail interiors, educational facilities and healthcare environments, the panel surface-mounts directly to ceilings without requiring a recessed void or suspended grid. The white steel frame holds a plastic diffuser that distributes light evenly across the 1195 × 295mm face, producing a UGR rating below 19 to minimise glare on computer screens and workbenches. The CRI (colour-rendering index) of 90 or above ensures that colours appear natural under the light, which matters in retail display areas, design studios and medical examination rooms.

The integrated driver eliminates the need for external control gear and the panel includes quick-connect terminals for mains supply, shortening installation time. Rated IP20 for dry indoor use, the luminaire operates within an ambient temperature range of 5°C to 25°C and carries a 50,000-hour service life rating alongside a 5-year manufacturer warranty. The colour temperature (3000K, 4000K or 6500K) and output wattage are adjusted using switches inside the panel housing, accessible before final installation. Once set, the panel retains the chosen configuration. The user manual in the Downloads tab shows the switch positions.

Can this panel be recessed into a ceiling?

No. The Blingo UAIO is designed for surface mounting directly onto solid ceilings. It does not fit into recessed grids or suspended ceiling systems. The 40mm depth projects below the ceiling surface once installed.

What ceiling height is required?

The minimum recommended distance from the panel to illuminated objects is 0.5m, so ceiling heights of 2.4m or above are suitable for most desk-height applications. Lower ceilings may work in circulation areas where the panel is not directly above workstations.

Is the light output dimmable?

No. The Blingo UAIO is non-dimmable. The output remains constant once the power setting is selected via the internal switches. For dimming control, consider alternative Kanlux panels with DALI or 1-10V dimming interfaces.
