Description

The Kanlux Blingo is a 60x60cm surface-mounted LED panel with an integrated 40W LED light source and a switch-selectable colour temperature of 3000K, 4000K or 6500K. The panel housing is constructed from white-painted steel with a plastic diffuser face, and the integrated driver and quick connectors allow ceiling installation without external control gear.

Designed for offices, schools, retail spaces and public corridors where consistent overhead lighting is required, the panel sits 40mm below the ceiling and provides 4460-4900 lm output depending on the selected colour temperature and power setting. The 115° beam angle gives even distribution across a room without visible hotspots. The Ra 90 colour rendering index makes it suitable for spaces where accurate colour perception matters, such as design studios, retail product displays and healthcare environments.

The steel frame and plastic diffuser combine to a total weight of 1.8kg, allowing installation on most ceiling types without additional reinforcement. The panel operates at 220-240V AC mains with a 0.98 power factor and a luminous efficacy up to 123 lm/W. It is rated IP20 for indoor use only and is not compatible with dimmer switches. The integrated LED modules carry a 50,000-hour service life rating and a 5-year manufacturer warranty.

How is the colour temperature selected?

The panel has a physical switch accessible during installation that allows you to select between 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white and 6500K cool white. Once selected, the colour temperature remains fixed until the panel is accessed again and the switch position changed.

Is this panel dimmable?

No. The Kanlux Blingo AIO SRM40W 60 is not compatible with dimmer switches and operates at fixed output once the power and colour temperature settings are selected during installation.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 115° beam angle and minimum 0.5m distance from illuminated objects make it suitable for ceiling heights of 2.4m and above. In offices and commercial spaces, typical ceiling heights of 2.7-3.5m work well with this panel.

Can it be recessed into a suspended ceiling?

This is a surface-mounted model designed to sit below the ceiling. For recessed installation in suspended ceiling grids, a different variant of the Blingo range would be required.
