Description

The LumiLife 300x300mm LED backlit panel is an 18W recessed ceiling light with switchable colour temperature control, allowing users to select between 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white, or 6500K daylight output from a single fitting. The panel delivers 1800 lumens across its 300x300mm face, with edge-lit LED technology that distributes light evenly across the diffuser surface to minimise glare and hotspots.

Designed for installation in standard 600x600mm suspended ceiling grids (where four panels fit to one grid square) or directly into plasterboard ceilings using the included fixing clips, the panel suits offices, retail stockrooms, healthcare waiting areas, schools and residential rooms requiring overhead functional lighting. The CCT switch sits on the driver unit behind the panel, so colour temperature selection happens once during installation rather than requiring ongoing manual switching.

The 18W draw delivers 100 lumens per watt efficiency, and the non-flicker driver maintains consistent light output across the rated 50,000-hour lifespan. The panel measures 300x300mm face dimension with a slim 11mm profile depth, and the white powder-coated aluminium frame with TP(a) flame-rated construction provides both thermal management and safety compliance. How do you change the colour temperature?

The CCT selector switch is located on the driver unit behind the panel. You select between 3000K, 4000K, or 6500K during installation by toggling the physical switch. Once the panel is installed and powered, the colour temperature remains fixed at your chosen setting until the panel is removed and the switch is manually changed again.

How is the panel installed?

The panel can be recessed into suspended ceiling grids using the included mounting clips (four 300x300mm panels fit into one 600x600mm grid square), or it can be fitted directly into plasterboard ceilings using the supplied fixing brackets. Mains wiring connects to the driver unit, which sits above the ceiling void.

Is this panel dimmable?

No. The driver does not support dimming. The output is fixed at 1800 lumens when powered.

What warranty does it carry?

LumiLife provides a 5-year warranty covering both the LED module and the driver unit. The panel is rated for 50,000 hours of operation, which equates to approximately 11 years at 12 hours per day continuous use.
