Description

The Bravo Compact is a surface mounting frame, an accessory that lets a recessed LED panel be fitted to a solid ceiling where there is no suspended grid to drop the panel into. Rather than sitting flush within a drop-ceiling tile, the panel mounts onto the frame and the frame fixes to the ceiling surface, raising the panel just clear of the finished face. It carries no light source or driver of its own; it is the bracketry that adapts a panel built for recessing into a surface-mounted fitting.

This frame suits rooms and spaces where a plasterboard or concrete ceiling rules out recessing, which covers a great many offices, retail units, classrooms and domestic conversions where there simply is not a void or grid above the ceiling line to accept a recessed panel. It is an indoor accessory only and should be kept to dry interior ceilings. Because it does not emit light itself, coverage depends entirely on the panel mounted to it, so the room area served follows the lumen output and beam spread of the chosen panel rather than the frame.
