Description

The LumiLife suspension kit provides the hardware needed to hang LED panels from ceilings where recessed mounting is not possible or desired. The kit includes four steel spring-loaded clips that grip the panel edges, adjustable wire cables for setting drop height, galvanised steel corner brackets for ceiling attachment, plastic wall plugs, screws and three orange wire connectors for joining suspension cables to ceiling fixings.

Designed for commercial offices, retail spaces, schools and hospitality venues where panels need to be suspended below exposed ceilings, concrete soffits or structural beams, the kit accommodates panel sizes from 300x300mm to 600x1200mm. The adjustable wire allows drop heights from approximately 100mm to 1500mm depending on installation needs and ceiling structure. Each of the four clips is pre-tensioned to grip the panel frame securely without requiring tools for attachment.

The galvanised corner brackets mount to the ceiling surface and provide anchor points for the suspension wires. Each wire passes through the bracket, down to a panel clip, and is secured using the orange wire connector which crimps the cable to the desired length. The IP20 rating limits use to dry internal zones — Zone 3 bathrooms away from water sources or standard office and commercial environments. All fixings and connectors are included; no additional parts are needed for a standard installation.

The kit is compatible with LED panels in 300x300mm, 300x600mm, 300x1200mm, 600x600mm and 600x1200mm sizes. The four clips attach to the panel edges and the adjustable wire accommodates the weight and dimensions of these standard panel formats.

How much drop height can be achieved?

The suspension wires are adjustable from approximately 100mm to 1500mm. The final drop depends on the wire length you cut and secure using the orange connectors. Longer drops may require additional wire purchased separately.

Can this be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating limits the kit to Zone 3 bathroom areas only — at least 600mm horizontally from a water source and above 2.25m from the floor. For Zones 1 and 2, a higher IP-rated suspension system is required.

What ceiling types can the kit be mounted to?

The kit is designed for solid ceilings including concrete, plasterboard on joists, and timber. The wall plugs and screws suit masonry and plasterboard; for metal ceilings or suspended grid systems, alternative fixings may be needed.
