Description
The Bravo is a slim recessed LED panel measuring 1195 x 295 x 11 mm, sized to drop into a standard 1200x300 ceiling grid aperture. It draws 40W and puts out 4000 lm at a fixed 4000K cool white, an output rated at 100 lm/W. The wide 110 degree beam angle spreads light evenly across the room rather than pooling it, giving the flat, low-glare wash expected of a panel of this format. Specified in feet for the US market, this is a 1x4 troffer, the long rectangular profile that fits the linear runs of a suspended ceiling.
Across an office, classroom, reception, retail floor or clinical room the Bravo covers around 13 m² at general lighting levels, so a pair or a small grid suits most open commercial spaces. The 1x4 footprint lines up cleanly in a drop-ceiling grid, and the 11 mm depth keeps it tight against the plasterboard while still needing clearance in the void above for the recessed body and its connections. At IP20 it is rated for dry indoor areas only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, damp utility rooms and any exposed or sheltered-outdoor position.
The frame is steel finished in white, giving a crisp edge that reads neatly against a white tile or plasterboard ceiling. The panel mounts recessed into the ceiling grid or void rather than on the surface, sitting flush once installed. Its rated life is 25,000 hours, and the colour is locked to a single cool white 4000K tone rather than being switchable. A driver is not included, so a compatible remote driver should be specified to suit the installation. Other sizes and wattages sit alongside it in the Bravo range for matching a run of fittings across a project.

Frequently Asked
Is the Bravo panel dimmable?
Dimming depends on the remote driver paired with it, as a driver is not supplied with the panel. Specify a compatible dimmable driver and the appropriate control to dim the fitting. With a standard fixed-output driver the panel runs at its full 4000 lm.
What size ceiling cut-out does it need?
The panel measures 1195 x 295 x 11 mm and is designed to recess into a standard 1200x300 mm grid aperture, the 1x4 troffer format. It drops into the grid opening rather than needing a cut hole in solid plasterboard. Allow clearance in the void above for the body and the driver connections.
How many lumens is it and what room size does it cover?
It delivers 4000 lm from 40W at an efficiency of 100 lm/W. At general lighting levels that covers around 13 m², so an office or classroom will usually need two or more arranged across the grid. Plan the layout to the room area and the brightness you want.
How do I clean the diffuser?
Wipe the panel face with a soft, dry or barely damp cloth once the fitting is switched off and cool. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, which can mark the diffuser. As an IP20 fitting it should never be wetted down or used anywhere damp.
