The Exility magnetic track system

At the heart of the range is the Exility magnetic track system. It offers both recessed and surface runs for 12.5mm plasterboard, with straight and corner connectors, 48V power feeds and power connectors so you can plan a layout to fit the ceiling. Onto that track sit a family of magnetic heads, including the Focus spotlights, the Focus magnetic track pendant and the Basis corner track light, letting you mix beams, accents and hanging points along a single line.

Spotlights and downlights

Away from the track, Maytoni covers fixed lighting for everyday rooms. The Focus surface-mounted spotlight and the Hydra round surface downlight handle directional and general light, both built in metal and aluminium and finished in black or matte gold for a low-profile result on the ceiling.

Pendants and suspensions

For hanging light, the range reaches from the simple Basic Colors cone pendant to more sculptural suspensions like the Halo LED linear circle and the Golden Cage wire sphere. These bring brass and gold tones into dining rooms, hallways and living spaces, with shapes that read as either pared-back or decorative depending on the piece.

Wall lights and finishes

Wall fittings such as the Basic Form frosted globe round out the range, again drawing on the brand's palette of black, brass, gold and white. How does the Maytoni Exility magnetic track work?
Exility uses a low-voltage 48V DC track that the light heads clip onto magnetically, so spotlights, pendants and linear fittings reposition along the rail without tools. The range includes 1m and 2m recessed tracks for 12.5mm plasterboard, straight and L-shape connectors and a power feed to energise the run.

What types of Maytoni light are in the range?

Are Maytoni fittings dimmable or colour-adjustable?
Some are. Several Exility track lights and the Halo linear suspensions are marked dimmable, and a number of fittings offer CCT adjustable output that switches between warm white, soft white and cool white. Most other LED fittings run at a fixed warm white around 3000K, listed on each product.

Does Maytoni make outdoor-rated lighting?
Yes. The range includes outdoor wall lights, spike lights, bollards and surface downlights rated from IP44 up to IP65 for gardens and exposed walls, in finishes such as black, white and graphite. Indoor fittings are rated IP20 and suit dry rooms only.

Who should install Maytoni track and hard-wired fittings?
The magnetic track, recessed downlights and hard-wired wall and ceiling fittings connect to fixed mains wiring, so installation is best carried out by a qualified electrician. Plug-in table and floor lamps simply connect at the socket and need no wiring work.
