Description

The Renaissance is a 63cm LED wall light combining a satin brass tubular frame with a black marble oval backplate. Two slender brass tubes extend vertically from the marble base, one straight upward and one curving out at mid-height before rising parallel. An integrated 6W LED inside each tube casts warm 3000K light upward and downward along the wall, creating a wash effect rather than focused task lighting.

Designed for hallways, living rooms, bedrooms and hotel corridors where vertical accent lighting adds dimension without overwhelming the space, the Renaissance works best on walls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above to give the 63cm height room to breathe. The marble backplate mounts flush to the wall via concealed fixings behind the stone, with the brass tubes projecting approximately 8.6cm from the wall surface. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations only.

The black marble backplate shows natural white veining characteristic of polished Marquina or similar marble, with variation between individual pieces depending on the section of stone cut. The satin brass finish on the metal tubes is brushed rather than mirror-polished, softening reflections under daylight and allowing the marble to remain the focal point. The combined marble and brass give the fitting a substantial presence suited to feature walls, either as a single accent or in pairs flanking a mirror, artwork or doorway.

Is the Renaissance dimmable?

The integrated 6W LED operates on AC 110-220V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility with the Maytoni LED driver in this fitting.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is suitable for dry indoor locations only and must not be installed in bathrooms, wetrooms or other high-humidity environments.

Does the marble vary between pieces?

Yes. Each backplate is cut from natural black marble, so the white veining, tonal variation and pattern differ between individual fittings. This is a characteristic of natural stone, not a defect.

How is the marble backplate cleaned?

Marble is porous and can stain if exposed to oils or acidic liquids. Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
