Description

The Trame is a compact LED wall light built around a white metal cylindrical shade with open top and bottom apertures, housing an integrated 6W LED module running at 3000K. Light escapes upward and downward through the open ends, washing the wall above and below the fitting while the shade itself remains opaque, creating a dual-beam effect rather than direct glare.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, living room accent positions and commercial corridors where low-level ambient light is needed without a ceiling fitting, the Trame mounts flush to the wall with a 9cm projection. The 17.5cm length and 8cm height give the fitting a small footprint suitable for narrower wall sections between doorways or above headboards. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments only.

The white powder-coated metal finish suits both contemporary all-white interiors and provides neutral contrast in spaces with darker wall colours. The geometric cylindrical form is straightforward rather than decorative, making it compatible with minimalist, Scandinavian and industrial-influenced interiors. The integrated LED runs directly on 220-240V AC mains without needing an external driver or transformer visible on the wall, keeping the installation clean.

Frequently Asked

Is the Trame dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility is not stated in the specification. Most integrated LED wall lights of this type are not dimmable unless explicitly marked. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer switch to confirm compatibility with this specific model.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is only suitable for dry indoor locations. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher depending on zone.

What direction does the light go?

The cylindrical shade has open top and bottom ends, so light washes upward onto the ceiling or wall above, and downward onto the wall below. The shade itself blocks direct horizontal light, creating a dual-beam ambient effect rather than task lighting.

How is it wired?

The integrated LED runs on 220-240V AC mains. The fitting connects directly to standard UK lighting circuit wiring without needing a separate driver or transformer. See the product manual linked above for full installation guidance.
