Description

The Zaragoza is a single-arm wall light with a brass-plated metal backplate and bracket, black accent posts, and a white fabric shade over a PVC liner. An E14 bulb (sold separately, up to 40W) sits inside the shade, casting soft diffused light downwards and outwards through the fabric.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, and living rooms needing ambient lighting rather than bright task illumination, the Zaragoza fits on standard wall-fixing points with the backplate measuring 14cm wide by 19cm high. The 28cm total projection from the wall places the shade clear of furniture and circulation paths. The brass finish on the metal components sits between polished and brushed, with a warm golden tone that pairs well with traditional and warm-toned contemporary schemes.

The white fabric shade diffuses the E14 bulb's output evenly, reducing glare and softening the light quality. The black posts running vertically through the fitting add visual contrast to the brass and prevent the design from reading as monochrome metallic. What bulb does it take?

The Zaragoza takes a single E14 small Edison screw bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED between 4-6W and 2700K for soft ambient lighting in bedrooms and hallways.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is only suitable for dry indoor locations. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher rated fittings for zones near basins, baths and showers.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting itself does not limit dimming — dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb chosen. If using an LED bulb, check that the bulb packaging states it is dimmable before pairing with a dimmer switch.

How far does it project from the wall?

The total projection including the shade is 28cm from the wall surface to the front edge of the shade. This clears typical furniture and circulation paths when mounted at standard switch-height (approximately 1.2-1.4m from the floor).
