Description

The Yin is a fixed recessed LED downlight with a 98mm diameter black aluminium bezel and an integrated 12W LED module producing 4000K neutral white light. The fixed reflector directs light straight down into the room, and the recessed mounting sits flush with the ceiling surface once installed. The CRI 90 rating gives accurate colour rendering for task-focused environments.

Designed for kitchens, home offices, retail displays and commercial interiors where focused downward light is needed, the Yin works as primary ceiling lighting in ceiling grids or as supplementary accent lighting over worktops, desks and display areas. The 75mm total height requires a ceiling void depth of at least 80mm to accommodate the heat sink and driver assembly. The fitting is dimmable via compatible mains dimmers, allowing light intensity to be adjusted from full brightness down to low ambient levels.

The black aluminium bezel provides a defined circular aperture against white or light-toned ceilings, and the matt finish reduces reflections under daylight. The IP20 rating suits dry indoor environments only — this is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor installations.
