Description

The Renaissance is a 63cm LED wall light pairing a satin brass metal tube with a grey marble backplate. The vertical brass tube houses an integrated 6W LED strip behind an internal diffuser, casting soft upward and downward light along the wall surface. The grey marble backplate anchors the fitting to the wall and provides a contrasting material texture against the metal.

Designed for hallways, stairwells, bedrooms and living rooms where indirect accent lighting is needed, the Renaissance provides ambient wash rather than task illumination. The 3000K warm white LED suits spaces where softer evening lighting is preferred over bright functional light. The IP20 rating limits use to dry interior locations away from bathrooms and outdoor exposure.

The grey marble shows natural mineral veining unique to each piece, so the tonal variation and pattern differ between individual fittings. The satin brass finish is brushed rather than polished, reducing reflections and giving a warmer, less mirror-like appearance. The integrated 6W LED operates on mains voltage (110-220V AC). Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer switch model. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture ingress and must be installed in dry interior locations only. For bathrooms, look for fittings rated IP44 or higher.

Does the marble vary between pieces?

Yes. Each grey marble backplate is cut from natural stone, so the veining pattern, tonal variation and mineral inclusions differ between individual fittings. This is characteristic of the natural material.

What direction does the light cast?

The LED inside the brass tube casts soft light both upward and downward along the wall surface, creating an ambient wash effect rather than directional task lighting. The diffuser inside the tube softens the light output to prevent glare.
