Description

The Bergamo is a 52cm diameter flush ceiling light with a chrome metal frame and a dual-tone cylindrical shade in grey and white linen over a PVC base. Three E27 bulb holders sit behind the shade, which diffuses light evenly across the 52cm diameter. The 17.5cm height from ceiling to shade base makes it a practical choice for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a pendant would hang too low.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, dining rooms and living rooms where ceiling clearance is limited, the Bergamo provides ambient light without visual clutter. The flush mount fits directly against the ceiling rose, with the chrome canopy concealing the fixing plate. The grey outer shade and white inner lining create a soft transition from warm lamplight to the cooler grey exterior, reducing harsh contrast when the light is on.

The linen shade is stretched over a rigid PVC cylinder, giving it a consistent cylindrical profile that does not sag or distort over time. The chrome frame is a polished finish rather than brushed, so it reflects more light and works well with polished chrome door handles, taps and radiator valves in the same room. Is the shade removable for cleaning?

The shade can be removed by unscrewing the lower retaining ring, allowing the linen fabric to be dusted or vacuumed gently. Avoid soaking the linen or using liquid cleaners directly on the fabric.
