Description

The Maytoni Smart Home Wi-Fi Control Module is a 65mm square hub that bridges Bluetooth, Bluetooth Mesh and Zigbee-based smart lighting and control devices to a Wi-Fi network. It allows remote control of up to 50 compatible devices through a smartphone app or voice-controlled assistants, turning local wireless protocols into internet-connected systems accessible from anywhere with a data connection.

Designed for residential and commercial installations where smart track lighting, downlights or other Bluetooth/Zigbee devices are already in use, the module acts as a protocol translator. Devices that would normally require direct proximity to a phone or controller can now be accessed remotely once connected through the hub. The module runs on a USB-C 5V DC supply, consuming 5W, and can be powered from a standard USB wall adapter or a nearby USB port.

The white plastic housing measures 65mm square with a 15mm height, small enough to sit on a shelf, desk or be mounted discreetly near the installation area. The IP20 rating limits the module to dry indoor environments only — it is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor use or any location where moisture is present. A small button on the base edge allows pairing mode to be initiated, and two indicator LEDs on the top face show connection status.

Compatibility is limited to devices using Bluetooth, Bluetooth Mesh or Zigbee protocols — the module does not work with Wi-Fi-only devices, Z-Wave, Thread or proprietary RF systems. Maytoni's own Exility smart track lighting range is explicitly supported, and the module is designed to work within the same app ecosystem as those products.
