Description

The Puntes is a crystal wall light with a gold-finished metal frame supporting overlapping panels of cut crystal arranged in a radiating pattern around a central E14 bulb fitting. The crystal panels sit at varying angles, creating multiple refractive surfaces that catch and scatter light across walls and ceilings when the bulb is lit.

Designed as accent lighting for hallways, bedroom walls flanking a headboard, or living room alcoves, the Puntes provides decorative rather than task illumination. The 25.6cm width and 16cm height suit wall spaces above console tables, sideboards or where a pair can be installed symmetrically either side of a mirror or doorway. The IP20 rating limits use to dry interior rooms only.

The gold finish on the metal frame and mounting hardware provides a warm metallic contrast to the clear crystal, working in both traditional interiors with brass or bronze tones and contemporary spaces where gold accents are used as highlights. The overlapping crystal panels are individually fixed to the frame, and light passing through them creates a scattered pattern on adjacent surfaces rather than a focused beam. The fitting takes a single E14 bulb up to 60W (sold separately), allowing choice of light temperature and intensity.

The Puntes takes a single E14 small Edison screw bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose a 4-6W warm-white LED bulb (2700K-3000K) to create ambient glow through the crystal without excessive brightness.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means this fitting is only suitable for dry interior rooms. It cannot be installed in bathrooms, shower rooms, or anywhere exposed to moisture or steam.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Wipe the crystal panels gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For fingerprints or more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Do not use glass cleaner sprays or chemical polishes directly on the crystal while it is fitted to the wall.

What mounting height works best?

Wall lights of this style are typically mounted at 1.5-1.8m above floor level when installed either side of a mirror, headboard or in a hallway. The exact height depends on eye level and the ceiling height of the room.
