What bulb does the Dot take?

The fitting takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 50W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most installations use a GU10 LED between 4-7W and 3000K-4000K depending on whether warm or neutral white light is preferred.

Can it be installed in an existing ceiling?

The Dot is designed for plaster-in installation during new builds or major refurbishments where the ceiling void is accessible before plastering. Retrofitting into an existing finished ceiling is not recommended as the bezel must be set into the plasterboard and plastered around to achieve the flush finish.

How much tilt does the mechanism allow?
