Description

The Facet is a 486mm flush ceiling light built around six E14 bulb sockets arranged within a circular gold-finished metal frame, surrounded by large geometric-cut crystal panels that form a shallow dome shape. Each crystal panel is faceted with angular cuts, refracting the light from the bulbs through the crystal and casting patterned reflections onto ceilings and walls.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights under 2.4m where a pendant would hang too low, the 228mm overall height means the fitting sits close to the ceiling while still providing enough depth for the crystal to create decorative light effects. The six E14 sockets take candle-style bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately), offering flexibility to choose warm filament bulbs for traditional interiors or cooler LED equivalents for modern spaces. The flush mount suits living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and dining rooms in flats, bungalows and converted lofts.

The gold finish on the metal frame is a warm-toned plating that pairs with brass hardware, warm wood tones and cream or beige wall colours. The Facet takes six E14 (small Edison screw) candle-style bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a warm glow through the crystal.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. At 228mm total height, the flush mount design sits close to the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights under 2.4m where pendant lights would hang too low or feel oppressive.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is suitable for dry indoor locations only. It cannot be installed in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any area subject to moisture or steam.

Are the crystals glass or plastic?

The crystal panels are cut glass, not acrylic or resin. This gives sharper, cleaner light refractions and a more substantial weight to the fitting compared to plastic alternatives.
