Description

The Zoom is an 85mm square recessed downlight with a white powder-coated cast aluminium body and an IP65 rating that seals out dust and water ingress. The fitting takes a single GU10 bulb (sold separately) up to 50W and sits in a fixed position rather than tiltable, directing light straight down from the ceiling plane.

Designed for bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms and outdoor soffits where moisture protection is required, the IP65 rating makes the Zoom suitable for shower zones, above kitchen sinks and under covered outdoor areas. The 45mm ceiling depth required for installation fits most modern plasterboard and suspended ceiling voids. The white finish sits flush with white or off-white ceilings without creating a visible boundary between the fitting and the ceiling surface.

The cast aluminium construction resists corrosion in humid environments better than stamped steel alternatives, and the fixed square bezel provides a crisp geometric aperture that suits contemporary interiors. The square aperture measures 85mm across, producing a slightly wider light spread than a 70mm round equivalent when paired with a wide-beam GU10 LED. The spring clips that secure the fitting into the ceiling cut-out allow the downlight to be removed for bulb changes without tools.
