The Maytoni Slim is an 85mm diameter fixed recessed downlight in black cast aluminium with a GU10 fitting that accepts bulbs up to 50W. The downlight sits 30mm deep when recessed, with a fixed beam angle that directs light downward without tilt or rotation. The black powder-coated aluminium bezel provides a clean finish flush with the ceiling surface.

Designed for general downlighting in kitchens, hallways, bathrooms (IP20-rated zones only), offices and retail spaces, the Slim pairs a compact footprint with mains-voltage GU10 compatibility, allowing direct replacement of halogen bulbs with LED equivalents without additional drivers. The recessed installation uses spring clips that fit ceiling cut-outs between 68-75mm diameter, requiring a minimum 35mm void depth above the ceiling for the lamp housing and connection block.

The cast aluminium construction dissipates heat from the GU10 lamp holder, extending bulb life compared to plastic-bodied downlights.
