Description

The Wisteria is a 1200mm linear suspension light built around a rectangular French gold frame supporting 16 E14 bulb fittings, each crowned with cascading crystal droplets that hang in strands beneath the canopy. The crystal clusters are arranged in a wisteria-like cascade pattern, with each strand varying slightly in length to create a layered, organic curtain of light. The French gold finish sits between polished brass and antique brass in tone, offering warmth without the high reflectivity of chrome or the darker patina of aged metals.

Designed for installation above dining tables and kitchen islands between 1800-2400mm long, the Wisteria's elongated footprint provides even light distribution across the length of the surface beneath it. The adjustable drop from 550mm to 1930mm allows the fitting to be positioned 700-900mm above a table in rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.5m. The suspension cables run from each corner of the rectangular canopy, spreading the 21.1kg weight evenly across the ceiling rose and avoiding the single-point load of a standard pendant.

Each of the 16 bulb positions accepts an E14 candle or golf ball bulb up to 20W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose between warm-white LED for energy efficiency or clear filament bulbs for a more decorative look when unlit. The crystal droplets are facet-cut to catch and refract light from the bulbs, scattering prismatic highlights onto surrounding walls and ceilings when the fitting is switched on. With dimmer-compatible bulbs and a suitable trailing-edge dimmer, the light output can be reduced for ambient dining or increased for task lighting during food preparation.
