Description

The Zon is a 12cm diameter outdoor ceiling light with an integrated 15W LED emitting 3000K warm white light through a white plastic diffuser. The aluminium body is finished in white powder coat and carries an IP65 rating, providing dust-tight protection and resistance to water jets from any direction, making it suitable for exposed porches, balconies, patios and exterior walkways.

Designed as a flush-mount fitting, the Zon sits 5.8cm from the ceiling surface once installed, keeping the profile low for areas with restricted headroom such as covered doorways, canopy ceilings and low porch soffits. The wide-angle diffuser distributes light evenly across the mounting area rather than focusing it downward in a narrow beam, providing functional ambient light for entry points and outdoor seating zones. The 15W output is equivalent to approximately 100W halogen in brightness.

The aluminium construction resists corrosion in coastal and wet climates better than painted steel or plastic-bodied alternatives. The white finish reflects less heat than darker colours, helping the LED maintain stable operating temperature in direct summer sun. The integrated LED runs on AC 110-240V, compatible with UK mains without requiring a separate transformer, and the CRI of 80 renders colours more accurately than lower-grade LED fittings, making it functional for outdoor dining areas where food presentation matters.
