Description

The Zon is a 40cm flush ceiling light with an integrated 45W LED housed inside a matt black aluminium drum. The LED panel sits behind an opal acrylic diffuser that spreads 3000K warm white light evenly across the ceiling plane, providing ambient illumination without glare or visible bulb points.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.1-2.4m where a pendant would hang too low, the Zon sits just 6cm proud of the ceiling and fixes directly to a standard ceiling rose. The flush-mount configuration suits bedrooms, hallways, home offices, and low-ceiling living rooms where headroom is limited. The 45W output at 3000K gives approximately 4,500 lumens of warm ambient light, sufficient to light a 12-15m² room as a primary source or a larger space when paired with secondary task lighting.

The aluminium construction and matt black powder-coat finish provide a low-maintenance surface that resists fingerprints and minor scuffs. The black drum pairs with industrial, mid-century and contemporary interiors, particularly where the ceiling is white or light grey, creating tonal contrast without heavy visual weight. The IP20 rating limits the Zon to dry indoor locations — it is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor covered areas.

The Zon fixes directly to a standard UK ceiling rose via a backplate on the aluminium drum. The installation requires connection to mains wiring and should be carried out by a qualified electrician. The 6cm projection from the ceiling includes the backplate and drum depth.
