Zon LED Large Flush Ceiling Light 3000K 90W - Black

The Zon is a 60cm diameter flush ceiling light with an integrated 90W LED module delivering 3000K warm-white light through a diffuser panel set within a matt black aluminium frame. At 6cm projection from the ceiling, the fitting sits close enough to work in rooms with low ceilings while the 60cm diameter provides enough spread to light living rooms, bedrooms and open-plan kitchen-diners as primary ambient lighting.

Designed for installation directly onto a ceiling rose, the Zon replaces traditional pendant lighting in rooms where headroom is limited or where a cleaner, less obtrusive ceiling plane is preferred. The 90W LED output is roughly equivalent to a 400-500W halogen in total light output, making it suitable for rooms up to 25-30 square metres depending on ceiling height and intended use. The matt black finish on the aluminium frame absorbs rather than reflects light, keeping the focus on the illuminated panel rather than the fitting itself.

The 3000K colour temperature sits in the warm-white range, warmer than office lighting (typically 4000K) but cooler than traditional incandescent bulbs (2700K). This makes the Zon compatible with residential interiors where a neutral, contemporary ambient light is needed without the clinical feel of daylight-white LEDs. The aluminium construction keeps the fitting lightweight despite the 60cm diameter, and the IP20 rating confirms it is designed for dry indoor locations only.

The integrated LED cannot be replaced by the user, but the 5-year guarantee covers LED failure. Typical LED lifespan at this wattage and quality level is 25,000-30,000 hours, equivalent to roughly 10-12 years of domestic use at 6-8 hours per day.

Product Manual

Is the Zon suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. At 6cm projection from the ceiling, the Zon works in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.3m upwards. The flush design avoids the head-clearance issues that pendants and chandeliers create in lower-ceilinged spaces.

Can the LED be replaced?

The integrated LED module is not user-replaceable. Maytoni covers LED failure under the 5-year guarantee. Typical LED lifespan at this wattage is 25,000-30,000 hours, equivalent to 10-12 years of domestic use.

What room size does the Zon cover?

The 60cm diameter and 90W output suit rooms up to 25-30 square metres depending on ceiling height and intended use. For bedrooms and lounges this provides adequate ambient light; for kitchens or workspaces you may want supplementary task lighting.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer switch installed. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility with this model.
