Description

The Zon is a 220mm diameter flush ceiling light with an integrated 24W LED module at 3000K, housed in a black aluminium drum that sits 60mm from ceiling to base. The LED sits behind an opal acrylic diffuser that spreads light evenly across a room without visible bulb glare or hot spots.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.1m and 2.4m where a pendant or semi-flush would intrude into headroom, the Zon delivers ambient light across bedrooms, hallways, utility rooms and compact living spaces. The 24W output provides sufficient brightness for rooms up to 12m² without additional fittings. The black aluminium frame pairs with matt black, charcoal and contemporary grey schemes, and the low-sheen finish reduces reflection under natural daylight.

The integrated LED cannot be replaced but carries a rated lifespan of approximately 25,000 hours at typical residential usage (3-4 hours daily). The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations — this is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use. The fitting mounts directly onto a standard UK ceiling rose with three-core mains cable (earth required), and the black finish extends to the base plate so no white plastic is visible once installed.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The Zon uses an integrated LED module that cannot be replaced. The LED carries a rated lifespan of approximately 25,000 hours, equivalent to 17-20 years at typical residential usage of 3-4 hours per day.

What room size does the 24W output suit?

The 24W LED at 3000K provides sufficient ambient light for rooms up to approximately 12m² (a 3m x 4m bedroom or a 2.5m x 5m hallway). Larger rooms may benefit from two fittings spaced evenly.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 60mm height from ceiling to base makes the Zon suitable for rooms with ceiling heights as low as 2.1m, where pendant lights would intrude into headroom.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture ingress. It is suitable only for dry indoor locations such as bedrooms, hallways, living rooms and home offices.
