Description

The Zinta is a single-light wall light built around a scrolled antique brass arm that curves upward from a circular backplate to hold a candle-tip E14 bulb (sold separately). Four faceted crystal droplets hang from the arm and around the lamp holder on thin chains, catching and refracting light when the fitting is on. A pull-cord switch on the backplate allows the light to be turned on and off without needing a wall switch.

Designed for hallways, landings, bedrooms and living rooms where a traditional wall light is needed without existing switch wiring, the pull-cord makes the Zinta practical for retrofit installation. The 230mm projection from the wall gives clearance around the crystals and keeps the candle flame bulb visible from multiple angles. The antique brass finish has a warm, aged patina that pairs with traditional and period-style interiors.

The scrolled brass arm and cut crystal droplets give the fitting a classical jewellery-like appearance that works well in pairs flanking a mirror, chimney breast or headboard. The E14 socket accepts any candle or flame-tip LED, halogen or filament bulb up to 20W (sold separately). Dimmable bulbs can be used if the light is wired to a dimmer switch, but the pull-cord itself does not provide dimming control.

What bulb does the Zinta take?

The fitting takes a single E14 candle or flame-tip bulb up to 20W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED candle bulb between 3-5W and 2700K for a traditional flame-like glow.

How does the pull-cord switch work?

The pull-cord on the backplate acts as an on/off switch, allowing the light to be controlled without needing a wall switch. This makes the Zinta practical for retrofit installations where no switch wiring exists. The pull-cord does not provide dimming — if dimming is required, wire the light to a dimmer switch and use a dimmable bulb.

Can the Zinta be used in pairs?

Yes. The fitting works well in pairs flanking a mirror, chimney breast, headboard or doorway. The 110mm width and 230mm projection give enough clearance for the crystals to hang freely without touching the wall.

How are the crystal droplets attached?

The four faceted crystal droplets hang from thin metal chains attached to the brass arm and lamp holder. They are removable if needed for cleaning or to simplify the appearance, though removing them changes the character of the fitting significantly.
