Description

The Ziggy is a 2 light duo-mount ceiling fitting combining a lacquered gold steel outer shade with geometric lattice pattern and a white opal glass inner diffuser. The duo-mount system allows installation as either a pendant with four rods for adjustable drop height, or as a semi-flush ceiling light when the rods are removed and the canopy is mounted directly to the ceiling rose.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms and hallways with ceiling heights from 2.2m upward, the Ziggy provides both ambient light through the opal diffuser and decorative patterned light through the geometric lattice. When installed as a pendant, the four rods give drop adjustment from approximately 300mm to 900mm depending on ceiling height and table clearance requirements. When converted to semi-flush fitting, the overall projection from ceiling to base of shade is approximately 280mm, making it suitable for rooms with lower ceilings where a full pendant drop would sit too low.

The lacquered gold finish on the steel outer shade presents as a warm metallic tone midway between polished brass and antique brass, pairing well with both warm-toned traditional interiors and contemporary spaces with brass or gold hardware. The geometric lattice pattern is laser-cut from sheet steel, creating diamond and square apertures that cast shadow patterns onto walls and ceilings when the light is on. The white opal glass inner shade is fully enclosed, preventing glare while diffusing the light evenly across the room. Each of the two E27 sockets accepts bulbs up to 60W (sold separately), giving control over colour temperature and brightness depending on bulb choice.
