Description

The Ziggy is a 1-light pendant that converts to a semi-flush ceiling light through an included duo-mount system. The fitting pairs a lacquered gold steel lattice shade with a white opal glass inner diffuser, housing a single E14 bulb (sold separately). The lattice pattern is laser-cut into the steel outer shade, casting geometric shadows onto surrounding walls and ceilings when lit.

Designed for spaces where ceiling height or room function may change, the duo-mount system ships with four adjustable drop rods that allow the pendant to be suspended at varying heights, or fitted flush to the ceiling with minimal projection. This makes the Ziggy suitable for dining rooms, hallways, bedrooms and kitchens where a single overhead fitting is needed but the drop height must be tailored to the room. The pendant mode works in rooms with ceiling heights above 2.4m, while semi-flush mode suits lower ceilings or spaces where headroom clearance matters.

The lacquered gold finish is applied to steel, giving a warm metallic tone without the maintenance demands of raw brass. The white opal glass diffuses light evenly, softening the output of the E14 bulb and reducing glare for eye-level viewing. The lattice pattern on the outer shade is decorative when the light is off and becomes more prominent when illuminated, with the shadow pattern varying depending on the bulb brightness and colour temperature chosen. The small size (approximately 25cm diameter) suits individual installation or grouped multiples over a kitchen island or dining table.

Yes. The duo-mount system includes adjustable drop rods for pendant mode and a ceiling plate for semi-flush mode. The fitting can be switched between the two configurations by changing which components are used during installation.

What bulb does it take?

The Ziggy takes a single E14 (small Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. Most users pair this with a 6-10W LED bulb in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient dining or hallway lighting.

How is the drop height adjusted?

Four adjustable rods are included, which can be connected in different combinations to achieve the desired drop length. The exact adjustment range depends on which rods are used, but typically ranges from approximately 30cm to over 1m.

Is the gold finish solid brass?

No. The gold finish is a lacquer applied to steel. This provides the warm metallic appearance of brass without the tarnishing and maintenance that raw brass requires over time.
