Description

The Zerith is a slim 450mm alabaster tube pendant built around a 100mm-diameter cylinder of natural Spanish alabaster, capped at the top with a fluted brushed brass collar and finished at the base with a domed brass end cap. An integrated 12W 3000K LED runs inside the tube, lighting the alabaster from within so the stone itself becomes the diffuser along its full length.

The pendant suspends from a slender brushed brass rod and matching ceiling plate, giving a vertical emphasis that suits taller rooms, stairwells, kitchen islands and bedside positions over nightstands. The 100mm diameter keeps the footprint narrow, allowing two or three Zerith pendants to be hung in a row above an island or breakfast bar without crowding the surface below. Drop is set on installation by adjusting the brass rod.

The fluted brass collar is machined with a series of vertical slots that frame the top of the alabaster and allow a small amount of light to escape upward, lifting the cap visually so it does not read as solid metal. Each alabaster tube shows different veining, mineral movement and translucency depending on the section of stone it was cut from, giving every Zerith pendant individual character. The solid copper and brass build gives the fitting weight and a quality feel disproportionate to its slender silhouette.

Does the Zerith come with a bulb?

Yes. The 12W LED is integrated into the alabaster tube and is not user-replaceable. It runs at 3000K warm white on 230V mains, so no separate bulb purchase is needed.

Is the Zerith suitable for low ceilings?

The fitting itself is 450mm tall, with an additional brass suspension rod above. The rod is adjustable on installation, so the overall drop can be set to suit ceiling heights from around 2.4m upwards. For very low ceilings, shorten the rod during fitting.

Can multiple Zerith pendants be hung together?

Yes. The slim 100mm diameter and vertical proportions make the Zerith well-suited to being hung in groups of two, three or more along a kitchen island or dining table. Each pendant requires its own ceiling fixing point.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, and do not soak the stone with water.
