Description

The Zephyrus is a 17cm round LED ceiling and wall light with a white painted steel body and a plastic diffuser that spreads light evenly across the mounting surface. An integrated LED runs at 4000K, producing a neutral white light that sits between warm domestic lighting and cooler office tones. The fitting mounts flush to the wall or ceiling with no visible projection beyond the circular face.

Designed for corridors, hallways, staircases, bathrooms (IP20 allows dry bathroom zones only), small bedrooms and utility rooms, the Zephyrus provides functional rather than decorative light. The 17cm diameter suits spaces where a larger flush fitting would dominate — entrance halls with low ceilings, narrow corridors, walk-in wardrobes, en-suites and landings. The light spreads to approximately 1.5-2m diameter on a flat surface, depending on mounting height and room reflectance.

The painted steel body is lightweight but rigid enough to prevent flexing during installation. The white finish blends into white or off-white ceilings without creating a visual boundary, while the plastic diffuser hides the LED array inside and prevents harsh hotspots. The integrated LED removes the need for bulb replacement, with typical LED lifespan extending to 25,000+ hours of use depending on operating conditions.

Can this be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating allows use in dry bathroom zones only — typically zones 3 and outside the defined wet zones. It cannot be installed directly above a bath or shower (zones 0, 1 or 2) where moisture ingress is likely.
