Description

The Zephyrus is a 30cm round LED ceiling and wall light with a white painted steel frame and a plastic diffuser that distributes light evenly across the surface. An integrated LED module inside produces 4000K neutral white light, which sits between warm and cool on the colour temperature scale and suits spaces where task clarity and ambient comfort need to coexist.

Designed for mounting on either ceilings or walls, the Zephyrus works in hallways, bathrooms (not wet zones — IP20 rated), home offices, kitchens and bedrooms where general lighting is needed without the bulk of a traditional pendant or the heat of halogen downlights. The 30cm diameter covers enough ceiling area to provide useful light spread in rooms up to 12-15 square metres, while the low-profile design suits standard 2.4m ceiling heights without hanging into head space.

The white painted steel body and plastic diffuser keep the weight down to around 800g, making the fitting straightforward to install on plasterboard ceilings with standard fixings. The integrated LED cannot be replaced, but the module is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use, which translates to 10-15 years at typical residential usage of 4-6 hours per day. The diffuser spreads light without hot spots or visible individual diodes, so the fitting provides functional illumination rather than decorative accent.

Is this dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is not compatible with dimmer switches. Attempting to dim the fitting may cause flickering or damage to the LED driver.

What is 4000K colour temperature?

4000K is neutral white light, sitting between warm white (2700K-3000K) and cool white (5000K-6500K). It provides clarity for tasks without the clinical feel of cool white or the amber cast of warm white, making it suitable for kitchens, bathrooms and home offices.

Can this be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating means the fitting is suitable for dry interior locations only. It can be installed in bathrooms outside of the designated wet zones (typically Zone 0, 1 and 2 around baths and showers). Can the LED be replaced?

No. The LED module is integrated and non-replaceable. However, the LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of operation, which equates to 10-15 years under typical residential use patterns.
