The Zelda is a 3-light semi-flush ceiling light with etched glass drum shades mounted on three curved arms extending from a central polished nickel column. The column itself is constructed from a descending series of polished nickel spheres, each sphere slightly larger than the one above, creating a graduated stem between the ceiling rose and the horizontal arms. Each arm terminates in a tapered etched glass shade sitting inside a polished hemisphere cup, with an E27 bulb fitting inside (bulbs sold separately).

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.7m where a full-length pendant would hang too low, the Zelda sits 318mm below the ceiling and provides three-point illumination across a 375mm spread. The semi-flush configuration suits bedrooms, hallways, living rooms and dining areas in period conversions, flats and bungalows where ceiling height restricts pendant options. The three arms distribute light evenly across the room rather than concentrating it directly below the fitting.

The etched glass shades diffuse the light from each bulb, softening the output and reducing glare when viewed from below. The polished nickel finish on the metalwork provides a bright reflective surface that works with both warm and cool colour palettes, pairing comfortably with greys, creams, whites and darker feature walls. What bulbs does the Zelda take?

The fitting takes three E27 bulbs up to 60W each, sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient bedroom or living room lighting. The etched glass shades diffuse the light, so exposed-filament decorative bulbs work well if you want the bulb visible through the glass.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 318mm drop works best in rooms with ceiling heights between 2.3m and 2.7m, where a full pendant would hang too low. The semi-flush configuration keeps the fitting close to the ceiling while still providing downward and outward light distribution.

Is the Zelda dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs you fit. If you use dimmable LED E27 bulbs and pair them with a compatible LED dimmer switch, the Zelda can be dimmed. The fitting itself has no built-in dimming function.

How is the polished nickel finish maintained?

Polished nickel can be cleaned with a soft dry cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints or marks, use a barely-damp microfibre cloth with water only, then dry immediately. Avoid household sprays, metal polishes or abrasive cleaners as these can damage the plated finish.
