Description

The Zahra Washable is a traditional rug with a vintage look, printed in soft green and pink. A floral medallion sits at the centre on a green ground, framed in cream with touches of gold, and pink corner motifs lead out to a wide border of small floral shapes in pink, green and muted blue. The colours have a gently faded quality that makes the rug feel settled in a room from the first day. It is digitally printed on 100% polyester, which lets the pattern show in fine detail from the centre to the edges.

We think it is at its best in a living room or a bedroom. The 122 by 170cm and 152 by 230cm sizes sit nicely in front of a sofa or at the foot of a bed, while the 180 by 270cm size is large enough to go under a sofa and coffee table, or under a bed with the border showing around it. There is also a 61 by 230cm runner for a hallway or alongside a bed. The green and pink sit happily with cream, pale wood and soft colours.
