The Zahra Washable is a traditional vintage rug in soft blue, built around a large central medallion of petal shapes in deeper blue and grey, set on a pale blue field and framed by a wide grey border of small floral motifs. Ivory detailing picks out the outlines and corner pieces, and the colours have a gently faded, worn-in look that gives the design its vintage character. It is digitally printed on 100% polyester, which lets the fine detail of the pattern come through clearly.

It is most at home in a living room or a bedroom, where the cool blues sit easily with neutral sofas, pale wood floors and white walls.
