Description

The Xarelix is a 225mm pendant light built around a single horizontal disc of natural Spanish alabaster, suspended from a slim matt black stem and adjustable black cable. An integrated 10W 3000K LED sits within the disc, washing warm downward light through the stone and casting a soft halo from the underside while keeping the upper surface lit as a glowing plane.

The compact 225mm diameter and 500mm fixed stem (with cable adjustable to a 1000mm maximum drop) make the Xarelix suited to kitchen islands, dining tables, bedside positions and reading corners where directed but ambient light is wanted. Multiple units can be hung in a line above an island or clustered at staggered drops over a dining table, since the slim stem reads as an almost invisible line from below.

The disc is cut from solid Spanish alabaster and paired with solid copper internals beneath the matt black finish, giving the fitting a substantial feel despite its slim silhouette. Each disc shows different mineral veining and tonal variation, so two pendants from the same batch will not look identical when lit. The matt black stem is finished to absorb light rather than reflect it, reinforcing the floating impression of the disc itself.

No. Each 225mm disc is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and becomes most visible when the LED is lit.
