Description

This tiger photo frame sets a seated big cat beside your favourite picture, moulded in resin with a wood effect finish in warm brown. The tiger sits on the left edge of the frame and turns its head towards the photograph, while its long tail curls along the bottom and up into the right-hand corner. Raised tiger stripes in cream run across the whole border, so the frame reads as one striking piece of wildlife décor rather than a plain surround. It holds a single 6 x 4in photograph in a rectangular opening, upright in portrait, and stands 19.5cm high, 16cm wide and 2cm deep.

With a stand at the back, it sits freestanding on a mantelpiece, bookcase, desk or bedside table and needs no wall fixing. The warm brown and cream tones sit happily alongside natural textures such as rattan, linen and houseplants, and suit a living room, study or hallway shelf with a jungle or safari feel. At 19.5cm high it is compact enough for a crowded windowsill, yet the tiger gives it enough presence to hold its own beside larger pieces. A holiday snapshot, a portrait of a pet or a favourite family photograph all look at home inside the striped border.

The frame is made from resin, also known as polystone, which holds fine moulded detail well, so every stripe and the tiger's face show clearly. The wood effect finish gives the surface a soft grain with gently worn highlights along the raised edges. To keep it looking its best, dust it with a soft dry cloth, or wipe away marks with a lightly damp cloth and dry it straight after. Set it among greenery and a few natural pieces for a relaxed jungle corner, or wrap it with a favourite photograph already inside for a thoughtful present that is ready to stand on show the moment it is opened.
