Wisteria 1 Light Crystal Wall Light - Polished Nickel

The Wisteria is a 1 light crystal wall light built around three cascading strands of irregularly-cut crystal buttons suspended from a curved polished nickel arm. The arm extends 175mm from the wall and supports the strands at different heights, creating a 430mm vertical drop that mimics the natural hang of wisteria blooms. A single E14 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the upper strand, backlighting the crystals.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways, living room alcoves and dining room walls where decorative accent lighting is needed without a strong downward light throw, the Wisteria provides ambient sparkle rather than functional task light. The 130mm width and 175mm projection suit walls with clear space either side — avoid tight corners or areas where the crystal strands might catch passing traffic. The polished nickel finish pairs with cooler-toned interiors, contemporary greys, and spaces already carrying chrome or brushed nickel hardware.

Each crystal strand is hand-strung on metal wire, so the exact arrangement and spacing of the buttons varies slightly between individual fittings. The crystals are clear glass cut with facets that refract light when the bulb is on, creating scattered points of light on adjacent walls and ceilings. The fitting weighs 1.2kg and mounts to a standard UK back box with the bracket concealed behind the polished nickel wall plate. Pairing multiple Wisteria wall lights along a hallway or either side of a bed creates symmetry without requiring matching pendants overhead.

What bulb does it take?

The Wisteria takes a single E14 (small Edison screw) bulb up to 20W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 4-6W warm-white LED candle or golf ball bulb at 2700K-3000K for ambient light.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, if you fit a dimmable E14 bulb and connect the wall light to a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself does not contain dimming circuitry — dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb you choose.

How fragile are the crystal strands?

The crystal buttons are glass and can chip or crack if struck. Avoid installing the Wisteria in high-traffic areas where the strands might be knocked by passing shoulders or bags. Hallways with at least 400mm clear space either side of the fitting are safer than tight corridors.

Can multiple Wisteria wall lights be installed together?

Yes. The Wisteria works well in pairs either side of a bed, mirror or fireplace, or spaced evenly along a hallway. The 130mm width and 175mm projection allow spacing at 600-800mm intervals without the fittings appearing crowded.
