Description

The Wisette is a ceiling fan with a matt black steel body and long, curved blades in brown plastic with a wood-grain look. The canopy, downrod and motor housing share the same matt black, so the metalwork reads as a single clean, dark line, while the blades bring a warm, earthy tone to the ceiling. It measures 132cm across and stands 45cm high, and it runs on 220-240V, 50Hz mains power. The IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors and dry, in living spaces rather than bathrooms or outdoor areas.

We see it at its best in a living room, hung above the sofa and coffee table, where a 132cm span moves air across the seating area. The matt black and wood-grain pairing sits as happily in a pale, modern scheme as it does among warmer timber furniture and soft neutral textiles. For anyone who wants a cooler room in summer without a free-standing fan taking up floor space, this keeps the moving air overhead and the floor clear. A remote control comes in the box, so you can change the speed or the direction from your chair.

The body is steel in a matt black finish, and the blades are brown plastic. Plastic does not crack or split along the grain the way solid timber can. There are five speeds, from a gentle stir of air to a stronger breeze, all set from the remote. The fan is reversible too: turning the usual way sends a cooling draught down into the room, and reversing it lifts air towards the ceiling to move warmth around the room in cooler months. Packed, it weighs 5.962KG. As a mains fitting, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download, so you can read them ahead of the fitting.

Frequently Asked

Is the Wisette suitable for a bathroom?

No. It is rated IP20, which means indoors and dry only, so it belongs in a room such as a living room rather than a bathroom or an outdoor area.

How big is the fan?

The Wisette measures 132cm across and stands 45cm high, which gives a wide sweep of air over a living room seating area.

Does it come with a remote control?

Yes. A remote control comes in the box, and the fan is controlled from the remote, which sets all five of its speeds.

What does reversible mean on this fan?

The blades can turn either way. The usual direction sends a cooling draught down, and reversing it lifts air towards the ceiling to move warmth gently around the room.

What material are the blades?

The blades are brown plastic with a wood-grain look, paired with a steel body, canopy and downrod finished in matt black.
