Description

The Windsor Wool Border is a hand tufted rug in 100% wool, in a warm Terracotta colourway, a rich rust shade that sits between brick and burnt orange. The design is simple and well judged: a plain, even centre framed by a wide border, with a fine line marking where one meets the other. The border carries a close ribbed texture running parallel to the edges, so the rug reads as one colour yet still has a quiet pattern of light and shade across it. It is a rectangular wool border rug that brings warmth to a room without asking for attention.

We sell it in two sizes. The 120 by 170cm rug suits a living room in front of a sofa or under a coffee table, or a bedroom beside the bed. The 150 by 230cm size is large enough to sit under the front of a sofa and chairs together, or under the lower half of a double bed. The terracotta tone works with pale wooden floors, cream walls and natural greens.

The rug is hard-wearing, which settles whether it can cope with a busy room: it suits a family living room that sees daily footfall.
