Description
The Willowmere wall light is 360mm wide and 220mm high, projecting only 140mm from the wall, so it is broad without pushing into the room. The shade is multicoloured Tiffany-style leaded glass in a metal frame and backplate, lit by a single 40W E14 golf bulb, supplied separately. Individually cut panels joined with lead give the colour depth when lit and keep the pattern present when off. At 0.8kg this is a light fitting to handle, which makes fixing straightforward. It is Class 2, double insulated, and needs no earth.
Wall lights and wall sconces are the layer most rooms are short of. Fit a pair either side of a fireplace, a bed or a mirror, or space several along a hall to break up the wall. The Willowmere is wide at 360mm, so allow for that between door frames and pictures; the slim 140mm projection means a narrow corridor is still fine. Mount around 1.5 metres to 1.6 metres from the floor for general light, lower beside a bed. The 40W output is background light, not reading light.
The metal frame carries the glass so the leaded panels take no strain. Clean with a dry soft cloth, use a barely damp one where marks need it, then dry the lead lines. Solvents, ammonia-based sprays and abrasive creams will dull the leadwork over time, so avoid them. Rated IP20, it is for dry indoor rooms and not bathrooms. A dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer let you set the level. The same glass runs across Willowmere pendant, flush ceiling light and table lamp options for a matched room.

Frequently Asked
What are the dimensions?
360mm wide, 220mm high and projecting 140mm from the wall, so it is broad in shape but slim enough for a narrow corridor.
What is the glass?
Multicoloured leaded glass in the Tiffany style, cut into panels and joined with lead, held in a metal frame and backplate.
What height should I fit it at?
Around 1.5 metres to 1.6 metres from the floor for general lighting, or lower beside a bed so the light reaches reading level.
Which bulb does it take?
One 40W E14 golf bulb, not included. A dimmable bulb with a compatible dimmer will give you an adjustable level.
How do I clean it?
A dry soft cloth for dust, a barely damp cloth for marks, then dry the lead lines. Keep solvents, ammonia-based sprays and abrasive creams away.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms, so use it in halls, on stairs and in bedrooms and living rooms.
