The Willow is an 8-light crystal chandelier with branching antique brass arms, clear teardrop crystals and cut-glass sconces at each lampholder. The chandelier hangs on a chain from a circular antique brass ceiling canopy and takes eight E14 bulbs up to 40W each (sold separately). The antique brass finish is a mid-tone bronze with subtle patina variation that reads warmer than polished brass and cooler than oil-rubbed bronze.

Designed for dining rooms, living rooms and principal bedrooms with ceiling heights of 2.5m or above, the Willow works as a central statement fitting over dining tables or seating areas. The 640mm diameter suits rooms 4-5m across, and the adjustable drop of 520-1080mm allows the fitting to be positioned 700-900mm above a table surface depending on ceiling height. The chandelier can also be converted to a semi-flush configuration where a shorter drop is needed, using the same canopy and arm structure.

The eight arms radiate from a central column, each tipped with a lampholder and cut-glass sconce that diffracts light when the bulbs are lit. Clear teardrop crystals hang between the arms on brass pins, adding movement and sparkle. The fitting is supplied without fabric shades, presenting an all-crystal and metalwork finish; optional white or cream shades are available separately if a softer, dressed appearance is preferred. The chandelier weighs 3.5kg once assembled and requires secure ceiling fixings rated for the weight.

Can the Willow be used with a dimmer?

Yes, provided you pair it with dimmable E14 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Most modern LED E14 candle bulbs marked 'dimmable' work with trailing-edge dimmers. Check the bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before installation.

What bulbs does it take?

The chandelier takes eight E14 small Edison screw bulbs, up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a soft, warm glow that complements the antique brass finish.

Can it be fitted as a semi-flush instead of a pendant?

Yes. The Willow can be reconfigured as a semi-flush fitting during installation, shortening the drop to the minimum 520mm. This suits rooms with lower ceilings where a full pendant drop would hang too low.

Does it come with shades?

No. The chandelier is supplied without fabric shades, presenting the crystal and metalwork in an unshaded configuration. Optional white or cream fabric shades are available separately from the Diyas Willow collection if a softer, dressed appearance is preferred.
