Description

The Willow is a single-light crystal wall light built on an antique brass curved arm that holds a faceted crystal sconce and hanging crystal teardrop accents. The brass arm curves organically from a circular wall plate, forming an S-shape that positions the E14 candle bulb socket centrally within the crystal sconce. The combination of antique brass metalwork and cut crystal produces both ambient light through the crystal and reflected light from the metal surfaces.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, dressing areas and flanking mirrors where decorative wall lighting is needed without overhead fittings, the Willow projects 240mm from the wall and stands 170mm tall from the base of the wall plate to the top of the sconce. The compact 110mm width allows pairs to be installed either side of a mirror or doorway in spaces where larger wall lights would overwhelm the wall area. The fixture requires direct wiring to mains and fixes to a standard UK back box.

The antique brass finish on the metalwork shows deliberate tonal variation and darker patina in recesses, giving the appearance of aged brass rather than bright polished metal. The crystal sconce and teardrops are facet-cut to catch and refract light from the bulb, creating small points of reflected light across surrounding walls when lit. The fixture accepts any E14 candle bulb up to 40W (sold separately), giving control over light temperature and brightness depending on the chosen lamp. The Willow is sold without a fabric shade — the crystal sconce acts as the primary shade element.

Is this dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit a dimmable E14 bulb and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch. The fixture itself supports dimming but requires both components to function correctly.

What bulb does it take?

The Willow takes one E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulb up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED candle bulb between 4-6W and 2700K for a traditional warm glow.

Does it come with a fabric shade?

No. The Willow is sold without a fabric shade. The faceted crystal sconce acts as the primary shade element, diffusing and refracting light from the bulb. Some Diyas wall lights in other ranges are designed to accept clip-on fabric shades, but the Willow is designed to be used as shown.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The Willow carries no IP rating and is not suitable for bathroom zones where moisture protection is required. It is designed for dry interior locations such as hallways, bedrooms, dressing areas and living rooms.
