Description

The Willow is a 1.64m floor lamp built around a spiral antique brass stem decorated with eight faceted crystal droplets, topped with a 400mm diameter cream fabric shade. The metal framework winds upward in a double helix from a circular antique brass base, with each crystal droplet positioned along the spiral to catch and reflect ambient light even when the lamp is switched off.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and reading corners where both ambient and decorative lighting are needed, the Willow suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The single E27 bulb sits inside the cream shade, diffusing light downward and outward through the fabric while the crystal droplets add discrete sparkle against the warm brass finish. The 400mm shade diameter provides enough coverage for a reading position beside an armchair or sofa without the fitting dominating a corner.

The antique brass finish carries a darker, aged tone compared to polished or brushed brass, pairing well with traditional, transitional and warm-toned contemporary interiors. The cream shade fabric is a close-weave textile that softens bulb glare while maintaining enough translucency for the light to read through. At 5kg the lamp has enough weight to remain stable on carpet and hard floors without needing to be fixed down.

Yes, provided you use a dimmable bulb and pair it with a compatible dimmer switch or inline dimmer module. The lamp itself has no built-in dimming control.

How are the crystal droplets attached?

Each faceted crystal droplet is fixed to the brass spiral stem with a small brass loop or pin fitting. They are secure during normal use but should be handled gently during unpacking and positioning to avoid chipping the crystals.

Can the shade be replaced?

The cream shade sits on a standard E27 shade carrier ring. If the shade becomes damaged or discoloured, a replacement 400mm drum or empire shade with an E27 carrier ring can be fitted. Contact Diyas or Niori for matched replacement shades in the same cream tone.
