Description

The Waverly is a 5-light chandelier with five curved arms radiating from a central silver-finished column, each arm supporting a clear seeded glass shade housing an E27 bulb fitting. The seeded glass texture scatters light into fine patterns across surrounding surfaces while the silver finish on the metalwork provides a neutral base that reads as polished pewter or aged nickel depending on ambient light conditions.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Waverly provides both ambient and decorative lighting across a 660mm diameter footprint. The adjustable chain allows the chandelier to be set between 837mm and 2695mm drop on installation, giving flexibility to position the fitting 750-850mm above a dining table or higher in a double-height hall. The five E27 fittings accept standard Edison screw bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately), allowing control over colour temperature and brightness to suit the room.

The seeded glass shades are hand-blown with deliberate air bubbles and texture variations, so each shade differs slightly in its light-scattering pattern. The silver finish on the arms and central column is applied over steel rather than brass, giving the fitting a lighter overall weight than equivalent brass chandeliers while maintaining structural rigidity. The five arms are fixed rather than adjustable, maintaining a symmetrical profile when viewed from below.

What bulbs does the Waverly take?

The chandelier uses five E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for dining spaces, or filament-style LEDs to complement the seeded glass shades.

What table size does it suit?

The 660mm diameter works over dining tables between 1400mm and 2000mm long. For larger tables consider two Waverly chandeliers spaced along the table length, or a different fitting with a wider spread.

Is the drop adjustable after installation?

The drop is set during installation by adjusting the chain length before wiring. Once the ceiling rose is fitted and the chandelier is wired, the drop cannot be changed without re-wiring. The 1915mm chain provides a wide adjustment range from 837mm to 2695mm total drop.

Does the seeded glass vary between pieces?

Yes. The seeded glass shades are hand-blown, so the density and distribution of air bubbles differs slightly between individual shades. This variation is intentional and part of the product design.
