Description

The Wave is a 380mm-high table lamp built around a single hand-painted rustic gold swirl frame that curves upward from a circular weighted base to support an amber frosted glass globe. The metal frame loops once beneath the globe in a continuous arc, giving the appearance of the glass sphere balancing midair on the curve. A single G9 bulb inside the frosted globe casts warm diffused light through the amber glass.

Designed as accent lighting for side tables, console surfaces and bedside positions, the Wave pairs sculptural form with functional task light. The 150mm globe diameter provides enough light output for reading when fitted with a 33W G9 halogen or equivalent 4-6W G9 LED bulb. The lamp stands 380mm tall including the globe, fitting comfortably on standard bedside tables without blocking sightlines across the room. The circular base sits flat on polished surfaces without scratching.

The rustic gold finish is hand-painted onto the metal frame and shows subtle tonal variation and texture that differentiates it from machine-applied electroplated finishes. The amber frosted glass softens the direct light from the G9 bulb and adds a warm golden tone to the overall light colour, making the lamp particularly suited to warm-toned traditional, eclectic and mid-century interiors.
