Description

The Warwick is a 740mm diameter chandelier built around a central iron cartwheel frame with six curved arms, each terminating in an E14 candle bulb holder. The frame, chain suspension and decorative rivets are finished in graphite black — a dark grey-black metallic finish that replicates the appearance of traditional wrought iron without the maintenance requirements of bare iron. Each arm extends from the central hub with a slight upward curve before turning to support the bulb holder on a flat drip plate.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Warwick provides both ambient light from six candle-style bulbs and architectural presence from the ironwork itself. The adjustable chain suspension allows the chandelier to be set between 610mm and 2520mm drop on installation, typically hung 1800-2200mm above floor level for a 2.4-2.7m ceiling. Each of the six E14 sockets accepts bulbs up to 60W (sold separately), giving control over brightness and colour temperature.

The cartwheel frame measures 740mm across and weighs approximately 6kg once fitted, requiring a ceiling rose and chain fixing capable of supporting that load. The graphite black finish is applied to steel rather than solid wrought iron, reducing weight and cost while maintaining the visual appearance of traditional blacksmithing. The decorative rivets around the cartwheel rim are part of the aesthetic rather than functional fixings — the frame is welded internally. The chain links are individual steel pieces formed into loops and joined, giving articulated movement during installation and a historically accurate appearance once hung.
