Description

Our Vintage rug in Terracotta is a traditional design with a softly faded, gently aged look. A large central medallion sits on a cream ground, framed by a wide rust border of scrolling floral motifs, with touches of soft grey running through the design. The colours are muted rather than bright. It is machine made from polyester with a high density weave, and the textured pile gives the pattern depth rather than the flatness of a print. A light fringe finishes each short end.

We see it working as well in a hallway as in a living room. The two runners, 60 by 230cm and 80 by 300cm, are made for a hallway, bringing warmth and colour to a long stretch of floor. The 80 by 150cm size suits a bedside, a landing or the space in front of a fireplace, while 120 by 170cm and 160 by 230cm sit well in a living room under a coffee table.
