Description

Our Vintage design in blue is a textured traditional rug with the softly faded look of an older piece. A field of blue carries scattered flowers and leafy sprays around a small central medallion, framed by a fine beige line and a wide cream border of larger blooms in beige and blue. The colours are gently mottled, and short fringes finish each end. It is machine made in polyester, with a textured pile that gives the pattern depth and a pleasing feel underfoot.

We suggest it first for the hallway, where the runners come into their own: the 60 by 230cm runner suits a narrower passage, and the 80 by 300cm runner covers a longer stretch from the front door. In a living room, the 160 by 230cm and 200 by 290cm sizes sit comfortably in front of or under a sofa and pull the seating together, while the 120 by 170cm and 80 by 150cm sizes suit a spot beside a reading chair or a smaller room.
